What to Expect
Of all the remodel projects we do, people seem to have the least idea of what to expect budget-wise when it comes to bathrooms. Perhaps it’s the small space that’s deceptive, but even a small bathroom remodel is a significant project spanning weeks or even months and involving many trades. Larger, more complex bathroom designs, can and often do, cost as much as or even more than full kitchen remodels.
With some exceptions, an Image Contracting bathroom remodel will cost $50,000 – $125,000.
Mid-Range Kitchen Makeover
Budget: $60,000 – $125,000
A project in this range may include:
- Full design of space
- Full gut (remove vanity, toilet, flooring, baseboard trim, shower and/or bathtub, ceiling and walls as needed)
- Reconfigure space as planned
- Framing new walls
- Plumbing and electric reconfiguration
- Drywall and cosmetic repairs
- Full tile walk-in shower or tiled tub surround
- Glass shower doors
- Free-standing or sunken tub
- Paint ceiling, walls, trim
- New flooring
- New vanity, countertop, sink(s)
- New toilet
- New mirror or recessed/surface-mount medicine cabinet
- Updated/new lighting fixtures
- New plumbing fixtures
- New towel bars, hooks, TP holder

Bedford EuroSpa
We were proud to be recognized with a Gold Cornerstone Award from the NH Home Builders Association for this dramatic transformation. Our project was also featured in NH Home Magazine’s 2021 Kitchen & Bath Showcase issue (Sept/Oct 2021).
This is an en suite primary bathroom in Bedford, NH. Our clients had a definite vision for their dream bath, and it’s a stark contrast to the typical New England style. Having spent many years living abroad in Europe, they wanted to re-create the sleek, clean lines they were accustomed to, while incorporating luxurious functionality. The end result feels like the oasis of a fine European-style spa.
The old bathroom had an old and unused sunken whirlpool-style tub, outdated finishes and a cave-like stall shower/toilet area. It’s now open, airy and bright! We added some unique trick finishes like the app-controlled under vanity LED lighting to further highlight its floating design and to offer functional night-lighting. The waterfall edge on the quartz countertop and wave-tile wainscoting on the walls are timeless in their opulent neutrality.
